Unlike Linux, FreeBSD shows only process and kernel thread
information in procfs.
The equivalent interface for seeing/changing system options
is sysctl. Try "sysctl hw | less".
root:0:~# sysctl -d hw.ncpu
hw.ncpu: Number of active CPUs
root:0:~# sysctl hw.ncpu
It's better with descriptions, isn't it?
