WARNING - WRITE_DMA UDMA ICRC error

I had this problem during installation from a CDROM. The FAQ says the  
kernel should switch to another mode ( PIO ) in order to configure  
the hard drive ( as NetBSD does for example ... ). Unfortunatly it  
doesn't...
