Hmm, is that all?  Unusual; I'd think the loopback _should_ be set
up correctly.

`ifconfig lo0 -inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0`  ??


If that fixes it, then we have to figure out *why* it's not being
doing automatically.  Problem during init/rc, most likely ... weird.
