(.text+0x9) error

Hi,
   After adding the system call "set_lgname" , i was able to
  run make succesfully but  when ttried to compile the test program,
  I got the error mentioned below:
  
  /home/cse422/smehta6/OSI/src/lib/libc//libc.a(set_lgname.o)(.text+0x9): In funct
  ion `_set_lgname':
  : undefined reference to `SYS_set_lgname'
