Sorry for not replying to the original post.  I left it in my queue of
incoming "to-be-replied" messages, and then got dragged into other
things.

Can you show me the output of:

    $ ls -ld $CVSROOT/*

It looks like you have committed into your CVSROOT _some_ of the FreeBSD
extensions, but not all.
