Cinelerra for *BSD ??? or something similar in Ports?

ok, well then if I got through the trouble of setting
up my gentoo base install with all the dependancies
for Cinelerra, I should be able to build it and run it
in emulated mode right??? Theorized speculation is a
good enough answer for me right now.

Or will ALSA still not compile in the Native emulated
mode under a chroot to /compat/linux environment?

time to mess with portage I guess...
