Strange problem at boot time

Hi list.
I've just moved to 6.0RC1, and I added the ATAPI/CAM module to the
kernel. Now, the system boots *extremely* slowly when detects my CDRW -
about a minute. The device is working almost properly. I can mount CDs,
but not CD-RWs.
