device pf

I cannot find the device pf settings anylonger in de GENERIC kernel
config, /nor/ is it mentioned in NOTES.

Am I to understand that FreeBSD-6.0 supports pf and ipfilter by
default, without compiling it into the kernel? Or do I still compile
the right options in?
