are you aware that sun has opensourced solaris10 (www.opensolaris.com) will this in any way help the development of free bsd

solaris 10 is claimed by  the makers to be the fastest operating system on identical hardware in existence

eg
if you two identical systems one running solaris 10 the other running something else then solaris will be the fastest

they claim they have brokn 26 speed records
