can i delete /stand ?

i changed the fstab for the cdrom to /mnt and the compat and dist was
empty so now my / looks like

FX-53R ls
bin     dev     etc     libexec proc    sbin    tmp     var
boot    entropy lib     mnt     rescue  sys     usr
FX-53R 

i need some advice on the /rescue and /sys doh ?
