Why can't I mount a Video CD in FreeBSD??

isnt VCD another CDFS with MPG1 DAT files ?
Why wouldnt it mount ?

damaged CD ? 

or are we talking about different VCD ?

A video CD does not have a filesystem, therefore it can't be mounted.
You may be able to play it with the appropriate program, or extract the
video data to files.
