Can't remove files: Operation not permitted

Hi,

I have messed around trying to set up a freebsd diskless, so to populate
a root directory i ran (FreeBSD 6.0-CURRENT)

# cd /usr/src
# make buildworld
# make DESTDIR=/var/nclt installworld

Now the problem is that I can't get rid of /var/nclt again, not even in
single user mode. I can't change file permissions.

How do I clean up from this again?

Thanks, Erik
