Is Samba PDC up to snuff ?

Greetings,
I am planning a restructure of my internal network.
Right now, it has an NT4 Server Primary Domain 
Controller.  I would like to rip it down, install
FreeBSD and set it up as the Primary Domain
Controller.  This is only possible if the Samba
Primary Domain Controller feature works and is
reliable.

I would appreciate anybody who is using this feature
of Samba to comment on it.
