USB problems after upgrading from 4.9 to 4.10

I believe this is actually a bug in 4.10-RELEASE.  It was fixed in
4.10-STABLE a week or so ago.  As far as I know. it's actually
harmless -- the USB hubs work OK despite the alarming output.
