FreeBSD AMD64 malloc(), mmap()

Find the right list at apple to ask this for your G5 machine.  There 
are separate libraries for the 64bit malloc etc so to be extra sure go 
find the right list at lists.apple.com.  I don't have a G5, still on a 
G4, so I don't know the answer myself, but I did read a discussion on a 
list a while back that sounded similar.
