Can't mount primary msdos slice

Can't mount primary msdos slice on FreeBSD 5.1. Get:
"/dev/ad4s2 - invalid argument". The file for the
device /dev/ad4s2 exists - I see it by "ls". May be I
need some additional keys in the mount string?
