OpenLDAP on FreeBSD5 ?

Problem Solved...!
After installing 2.2.10 I realized that I had not configured the file "ldap.conf" which I believe would affect the ability of "ldapadd" to function properly.
In any case things seem to be working now so I can move on to trying to understand Schema's.
Sometimes it's just nice to have someone to listen!

I wrote to the FreeBSD Questions but did not get a reply. A link below will take you to my post. My problem is that I don't seem to be able to get OpenLDAP running on FreeBSD 5.2.1 Release
As you can see in the post the version I installed was 2.2.7. As I write this I have deinstalled it and am installing 2.2.10 hoping that this will somehow fix my problem.
I was hoping you could comment as to what you think my problem might be since you are listed as the OpenLDAP port maintainer.
Thanks! and
Thanks for the updated port!

Hello Sir,
Would you care to take a stab at this one...
I think it must be something simple but this is my first attempt at installing OpenLDAP so I must have missed something.
I installed by just going into /usr/port/net/openldap-server-2.2.8 and running "make install"
