Mozilla 1.5 on FreeBSD 4.9 problems.

Then update your ports.  It's been 1.5 for a month.
[mozilla-devel is probably 1.5 in your current ports collection, but
you really will be better off with the updated port.]

I'm pretty sure all of the other configuration you were doing can be
done from the command line with the port.
