Problem with a DLINK 580 TX

Hi

I try to use a DLINK 580 TX, but it seems not working as well . 
FreeBSD 5.0 see it as a ste driver. i can affect an ip, netmask etc...
When i want to try a ping i lose much packets (50%). 
Maybe I must use a patch or another ?

Can you help me ?
