Proliant on a 6500

[Ray Seals]

This is what worked for my Compaq Proliant 2500, 3000 and DL380.

You need to go into the BIOS, Press <F10> and go into the advanced
settings by pressing <ctrl>-A.  Change the APIC setting to Full Table -
Mapped.
