I originally installed FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT-20030329-JPSNAP
via a CD I burned on another system.
I then cvsup'ed to current got the above error. I fell back to cvsup tag
RELENG_5_0. aka
FreeBSD p6m7g8.com 5.0-RELEASE-p7 FreeBSD 5.0-RELEASE-p7 #2: Mon May 5
23:07:20 EST 2003 philip at p6m7g8:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/PHILIP-SCSI i386

I've seen this in 5.1 BETA #1 and I think I saw #3. Also a little before that
I saw it in 5.0-CURRENT #0.

I first though it was my kernel config because it was my first time using SCSI
in FBSD, so I tried the GENERIC kernel in all os versions to the same avail
other then 5.0-RELEASE-p7.

The error happens here
IP Filter: v3.4.29 initialized. Default = pass all, Logging = enabled
 ===> ******* Fails here ****************
acd0: CDROM <SAMSUNG CD-ROM SC-148C> at ata2-master PIO4
acd1: CD-RW <Hewlett-Packard CD-Writer Plus 8100> at ata2-slave PIO3

the CD-RW was in a previous computer with an ATA 100 hd and worked flawlessly.

The computer is a dell 600SC PowerEdge.
To save you the time
2.8 GHz Xeon
533 Front Side Bus
512MB DDR ram
da0: <SEAGATE ST336607LW DS04> Fixed Direct Access SCSI-3 device

In case any wants to look at it, my personal kernel config PHILIP-SCSI, .hints
files, and the GENERICS used are attached, (remeber its in GENERIC as well).

I've tried both schedulers SCHED_4BSD SCHED_ULE
which is the only option I add/changed between 5.0-RELEASE-p7 and 5.1-BETA #1

I will gladly provide more info if needed; however, how can I capute the db
output with kernel fault so I don't have to write it down and retype it --
for future reference ---:(

Thanks in advance.
