I have 5.1-RELEASE running on a dual PIII/850 SM P6DGH; lots of APIC errors on boot, but no obvious effects. I was able to complete a complete "make buildworld ... mergemaster" cycle, plus rebuild ports (including OpenOffice) with no errors. "mptable" won't completely run, but, again, no obvious symptoms.
