ppp prblem...chat script failed

hi,
i've done all instructions from the freebsd handbook
to run the ppp accurately. i load the changes... but
what i see is not more than "chat script failed". i'm
confused and i can't download the ports. because i
have no internet connection. please help me ...
here's the ppp.conf settings, there's no line-break 
in "set dial" line of the configuration:
