intel desktop board and floppy drive

good to hear i'm not alone! ;)

yes, i still have this problem. I had the standard comments:

change the floppy, change the drive, check the cable etc..

However like you, they are not the cause of the problem.

For the record, I'm actually running gentoo on this box now and the
floppy is working fine.
