Hi, I am new to freebsd and I am trying to install V5.0 on a Compaq Deskpro 2000. The machine boots O.K off the CD but when I get to the stage during install when I choose CD/DVD installation I get a no device error. The CD drive is a Hitachi CDR-7930. All hardware was working fine running W98 immediatly before. Can anyone help? Thanks Mike
