Sometimes (minimum once per week) all of amd64 boxes hangs: does not react on keyboard/mouse, does not ping. On console - black screen. On i386 or Linux we don't have any problems. If I move HDDs with BSD to HP DL160 - all works perfectly. The problem was detected on all version of 6.x and 7.x release-branch. Anyone is experiencing some problems? Any solution available? -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... The man pages for the drivers suggest the disk controller and NIC are supported and I see some earlier posts (November 2008) refer to the P410i controller. I would like to confirm the compatibility with FreeBSD 7.2. HP Proliant DL385 G6 - 1 * AMD 2.6Ghz Six core CPUs - 16 G RAM using 2 x 8GB PC2-5300 DIMMs. - Smart Array P410 with 512M cache with BBWC - 4 * 1Tbyte 3.5" SATA 7200rpm - DVD optical drive - 2 * dual onboard gigabit NIC HP NC382i (Broadcom NetXtreme II controller) - A couple of PCI slots. Thanks in advance. Doug
