hpasmd/hpasmcli with snmp support?

we run several hundred dl380 - about 20 with freebsd 5.3/5.4
i would like to export server status (fan/temp/dimm/...) using snmp to improve
our central server management

- any work already done/planned on this topic?
- possibility to add this feature to the source code?
- availability of HP specs regarding server management on dl380-g4?
- how to proceed with this 'feature request'?
