ALtivec Libc

Hello,

We have a developer working with us on AltiVec optimised
libc functions for GNU libc and Linux. He is willing to
license them under a BSD license and so on for inclusion
into other operating system libraries without "tainting"
BSD with GPL code (as I know has recently been objectionable
in some circles).

Who would it be who is "in charge" of this and exactly
how would they prefer it to be licensed?

It's really only relevant to the PowerPC port hence
only a mail here :)
