I need some context, are you sure the patch applied cleanly?

Just to avoid confusion, doownload this:

https://people.freebsd.org/~madpilot/Makefile.xz

decompress it with xz -d and replace the calibre port Makefile with this
one. It's the only file the diff is touching.
