Oddly enough, "pkg updating" did not display that UPDATING entry for me,
which is why I didn't see it.
(I run "portmaster -ad" daily (after updating my ports working copy).
Between those activities, I invoke "pkg updating -d ...", specifying
"yesterday's" date, in an effort to ensure that I don't miss anything.)
