Why do you think this is worth it? The port is in the current shape because upstream is unable to do proper software development and make redmine work with different versions of its dependencies. So what will happen when we have ruby 3.2.3? It will work until we have ruby 3.2.4 or what?

If you really want to improve the situation have a look at ChiliProject because they actually care about that. So better create a port for that.
