Yes, this issue only affects FreeBSD 7and 8 as 9 has replaced the old
FreeBSD dialog (and libdialog) with the standard version used in most
distros and I believe both NetBSD and OpenBSD. It just truncates a
long description line, though, so getting it shortened is still a good
idea.
