gmic plugin for gimp

Hi

I am a GIMP user and I found gmic plugin for gimp on the above site but there 
is a version for Linux and I think the source is also for GIMP (I am sorry if 
I am wrong). I try to compile but myself but not successful.
Is it posible that we get this plugin in ports, please?
