[Announce] Maintained TeXLive (2009 and devel) binaries for FreeBSD-6,7,8 available

Dear all,

The TeXLive binaries for FreeBSD 6, 7 and 8, for i386 and amd64 each,
are available for download. I will maintain binary sets for TeXLive
2009; I will also regularly release binaries built from the current SVN
TeXLive sources:

These binary packs are for people who want to use official TeXLive
distribution without compiling. (As you all know, TeXLive-2009 was
released without FreeBSD binaries; hopefully, this will be changed
for TL2010).

If you encounter problems running these binaries, don't hesitate to
write to me and/or to the TeXLive mailing list.

Romain Tartière's excellent freebsd-texlive project
(http://code.google.com/p/freebsd-texlive/) provides you a way to use
TeXLive distribution in the form of FreeBSD ports -- Romain, thanks for
everything you have done so far! So if you want _integrated_ install
(TeXLive fully integrated with the rest of Ports Collection), please
refer to Romain's work.
