See the following thread:
http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/mid.cgi?48998402.4000900
in particular the following message:
http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/mid.cgi?489AFD48.5070004

I am not sure how many people are affected and if anybody is looking
into this (transcode vs ffmpeg on 6.X).
