Where did you get your "fglrx" driver? As far as I know, only the
open-source driver (e.g. x11-drivers/xf86-video-ati, and "ati" in
xorg.conf") exists on freebsd...
Or am I wrong?

The current open-source driver supports xrandr and (at least on my acer
travelmate) video out.
