X.org 7.2 and Radeon question

     Sigh.  Okay.  Thanks for the information and for the quick response.
I guess then there's no strong incentive for me to move to X.org 7.2 until 
6.3-RELEASE happens.

     Thank you for that heads up.  The last time I had checked (about two
or three weeks ago, I think) that one wasn't yet on their web site.  I had
the previous one and had tried it on X.org 6.8.something-or-other, but that
was under 5.4-RELEASE, which didn't make a /dev/dri/card0 device file at
boot time, so the 3-D acceleration ended up disabled anyway.  I'll give the
new one a shot under 6.2-STABLE with X.org 6.9.0 and see what happens.
