multi-gnome-terminal url problem

sorry to bother all of you, but i did quite a bit of googling and didn't 
find an answer. i've been using MGT for several years and it's always 
kicked ass. i'm upgrading everything on my desktop and MGT now has a 
problem: URLs are _not_ underlined when i mouse-over them.

regular gnome-terminal is working as expected with URLs, but MGT is just 
dead. i'm not sure if it's a problem with the application, the port, or 
something on my system.

 	gnome-terminal-2.16.1_1
 	multi-gnome-terminal-1.6.2_4
 	FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE

any help would be greatly appreciated.

why isn't that addressed in the release version? or patched in the ports?
