i had 4 pecl ports that needed updated and one of them (fileinfo 1.03) 
is broken in the ports tree right now. to fix it, just grab fileinfo.c 
from the fileinfo CVS repository and overwrite the one in the 
work/Fileinfo directory and then do a make install as usual. that fixed 
it for me.
