I think it's just the way you said it.

Still it's volunteer work, just don't forget that.

As for fixing dri/drm problems instead of working on xorg 7.0, keep  
in mind that creating ports for xorg 7.0 doesn't require much  
knowledge where fixing actual bugs in dri/drm does. I'm trying to  
help Eric and Dejan on the xorg 7.0 side, but I'm not able to fix any  
bug in dri/drm.
