Well, it will take some time to fix all those ports, but I'm willing to
fix as much ports as possible. One of my classmates would like to help
me with that, because he wants to learn more about the ports tree's
internals anyway, so effort isn't a real big issue.

We just want to be sure that our effort won't get trashed ;-)
