Is there a way to get flash working with firefox in current?

Is there a work around for the linuxpluginwrapper port error to get 
flash and pdf working with firefox in current?

/usr/ports/www/linuxpluginwrapper # make
===>  linuxpluginwrapper-20051113 doesn't support ELF symbol versioning, yet..
*** Error code 1
