sysutils/lcdproc: How to become maintainer?

Hello Ports,

as part of my contributions to the lcdproc project I would like to take
maintainership of the FreeBSD port sysutils/lcdproc. In the past two year I
contributed patches and corrections to this project to better support
FreeBSD.

I would like to take maintainership with my sourceforge.net address
'mmdolze at users.sourceforge.net'.
