Well, I was just trying to help with what little I know,
based on some problems I had with the bash port.  I must
admit that I am not up-to-date on the current bash port,
but I thought my earlier problems might give you something
to investigate -- since I didn't notice anyone else who
had replied to your message.

I guess it wasn't useful.  Sorry.
