Just for aditional info, pkg_db during portupgrade has been failing
for me recently, sig11 I beleive, on my home machine recently (now up
to 140-odd packages, IIRC). I have PKG_DBDRIVER set to bdb_btree in my
pkgtools.conf, which seems to have worked around the problem. YMMV
