Check /var/log/mail and make sure the mail was sent

My log I get this:

to=<FreeBSD-gnats-submit at freebsd.org>, 
relay=outgoing.verizon.net[206.46.232.12]
, delay=3, status=sent (250 2.5.0 Ok.)
