port tvguide appears to no longer work

I installed it and edited the script to add my ServiceID, but it complains:
Use of uninitialized value in substitution (s///) at /usr/local/bin/tvguide
        line 506, <INPUT> line 1743 (#1)

I read thru the script and my guess is that the format has changed and the 
port is rotting...
