can't reproduce build error of octave-port on 5.4

Hello,

I just saw that octave has been marked broken and tried to reproduce the 
compile error. Unfortunatly I can't, since it builds without problems on 
my system (recent 5-stable). So may somebody give me a tip what error 
occurs? Maybe it is just a dependency error or the problem may be gone. 
I would like to see it unmarked broken, because I like octave a lot.

p.s.: there isn't an errorlog on portsmon, too.
