FreeBSD Port: asterisk-1.0.3_1

Some help please!!!!

I just installed a FreeBSD 5.3 I have tried make asterisk and it tries to install version 0.9.0 which aborts with error 2 at /usr/local/prots/net/asterisk

Then I downloades the tarball for 1.0.3_1 and after 30 minutes of messages I got an error saying that channel.o not found!!!! and aborts....

any ideas? any suggestion?
