Problems with rsync 2.66 on freebsd

is the syntax correct?  i was under the assumption you needed :: to seperate 
server from rynsc module?? is backups a module in /usr/local/etc/rsynd.conf. 
i've never even tried with one :, so it may work, but thats my guess.

does this work?
rsync -r /backups/bsd1 --delete cell at sceen.net::backups
